Hallo liebe Erstis!
Herzlich Willkommen im Mathematik-Studium! Wir sind euer Fachschaftsrat (kurz: FSR) und wir sind Studierende aus ganz unterschiedlichen Semestern der Mathematik. Wir sind eure Vertretung in verschiedenen Hochschulgremien und eine gute Anlaufstelle bei Fragen und Problemen rund um das Studium.

Was ist die ESE?
Die Ersemestereinführungswoche, kurz: ESE, ist eine Woche voller Veranstaltungen die spezifisch dafür da sind Komilliton*innen und den Campus kennen zu lernen.Die ESE findet eine Woche vor dem Beginn der Lehrveranstaltungen statt, in 2024 also vom 7. Oktober bis zum 13. Oktober.

Awareness in der ESE
Die ESE soll eine tolle Woche für alle Teilnehmenden werden. Um das zu gewährleisten haben wir ein Awareness-Konzept und ein Awareness-Team.Mehr Infos dazu gibt es bei der Begrüßungsveranstaltung und sowie auf hier.

Räume und Orte
Ihr wisst nicht wohin? Kein Problem. Mit dem Campus-Navigator findet ihr die meisten Räume ohne große Probleme.Der Treffpunkt Astronomischen Uhr befindet sich auf dem Parkplatz zwischen Willersbau und Trefftzbau. Hier nochmal auf einer Karte zu sehen.
Die Willerswiese liegt zwischen Willersbau, Trefftzbau und Recknagelbau. Wenn ihr von der Straße aus kommt, ist sie durch den Trefftzbau durch barrierefrei erreichbar.
Technische Einführung
Hier werdet ihr in die technischen Tools die an der Uni sehr wichtig sind eingeführt, darunter z.B. Opal, worüber die meisten Lehrveranstaltungen Infos und Materialien bereitstellen, und selma, worüber die Modul- und Prüfungsanmeldung läuft.Campusrallye

Dresden ist die Stadt der Studiclubs! Mit dieser Tour erkunden wir ein paar von diesen und machen uns einen schönen Abend mit lecker Getränken und netten Menschen!FRESH
FRESH - Feiern, Reden, Essen, Spielen, HäMa. Hauptorga dieser Veranstaltung übernimmt der FSR Physik, aber wie könnten wir uns bei dem Konzept nicht mit einklinken? Lest euch für mehr Infos zu den Tag gerne die kurze Beschreibung auf der Physik Website durch!Studienfachberatung
Diese Veranstaltung kommt nicht von uns, sondern von der Fakultät. Hier könnt ihr also bei Fragen oder Problemen zum Studienablauf auch nochmal richtig professionelle Antworten bekommen.Profquiz
Der Willersbau ist ein sehr artenreiches Gebäude. Jede Menge Professor:innen und Mitarbeiter:innen tummeln sich in seinem Inneren. Ein paar lernt man während der Vorlesungen kennen, andere nicht. Um mehr von diesen interessanten und liebenswürdigen Menschen kennenzulernen, haben wir uns gedacht, wir machen einen Quizabend.Samstag
Wie ihr seht ist der Samstag sehr locker geplant, das ist ganz mit Absicht so. Die ESE ist oft auch anstrengend, deswegen wollen wir die Woche gemütlich ausklingen lassen.Die Fahrradtour und die Stadtrallye werden parallel stattfinden und beide an den Elbwiesen enden, wo wir mit ein paar Getränken und guter Stimmung die Woche gemeinsam chillig beenden.
Mentor:innen-Programm
Ein tolles Programm, welches vielen von uns selbst beim Studienstart unterstützt hat wollen wir euch hier noch ans Herz legen: Das Mentor:innen Programm.Im Rahmen des Programms könnt Ihr Euch gleich zum Studienbeginn einer Mentee-Gruppe anschließen, die von einer Student:in aus einem höherem Semester betreut wird. Alle Informationen zum Mentor:innen-Programm, insbesondere zur Anmeldung und der Auftaktveranstaltung, findet Ihr auf der Webseite Mentor:innen-Programm.

Welcome week 2024
Hello first-semesters!
Welcome to the mathematics program! We are your student council (German: Fachschaftsrat or FSR for short) and we are students in many different mathematics semesters. We represent you students in various university committees and are a good contact point for questions and problems relating to your studies.

What is the ESE?
The „ESE“ is a welcome week full of events that are specifically designed for you to get to know your fellow students and the university.The ESE takes place one week before the first lectures, so for this year from the 7th of October until the 13th of October.
This year we have some events specifically catered towards international master students, you will find everything in the list below!
Awareness during the ESE
We want to ensure that the ESE is a great week for everyone. That´s why we created an awareness concept and an awareness team.More information will be given during the introductory events and can also be found here.

Dont know where to go? No problem. The Campus-Navigator can help you find most rooms.Der meetup point „Astronomischen Uhr“ is on the parking lot between the Willersbau and Trefftzbau. Here you can see it on a map.
The Willerswiese is in between the Willersbau, Trefftzbau and Recknagelbau. If you are coming from the street you can enter without barriers through the Trefftz-Bau.

You can see that saturday is planned loosely. This is on purpose, as the ESE is often times quite straining and we want to end the week on a chill note.The bicycle tour and city tour will happen simultaneously and both end at the Elbe where we will end the week together with a few drinks.
