Hallo liebe Erstis!

Herzlich Willkommen im Mathematik-Studium! Wir sind euer Fachschaftsrat (kurz: FSR) und wir sind Studierende aus ganz unterschiedlichen Semestern der Mathematik. Wir sind eure Vertretung in verschiedenen Hochschulgremien und eine gute Anlaufstelle bei Fragen und Problemen rund um das Studium.

Übrigens sind wir auch in den sozialen Netzwerken unterwegs, also fleißig folgen, liken und teilen!

Es gibt übrigens auch eine Bachelor (und Lehramt) Matheerstie Whatsapp-Gruppe. Für alle die im Master anfangen haben wir auch eine Master Whatsapp-Gruppe.

Was ist die ESE?

Die Ersemestereinführungswoche, kurz: ESE, ist eine Woche voller Veranstaltungen die spezifisch dafür da sind Komilliton*innen und den Campus kennen zu lernen.
Die ESE findet ungefähr eine Woche vor dem Beginn der Lehrveranstaltungen statt, in 2025 also vom 1. Oktober bis zum 12. Oktober.

Awareness in der ESE

Die ESE soll eine tolle Woche für alle Teilnehmenden werden. Um das zu gewährleisten haben wir ein Awareness-Konzept und ein Awareness-Team.
auf den Veranstaltungen unserer ESE legen wir Wert auf den respektvollen und rücksichtsvollen Umgang miteinander.
Wir positionieren uns klar gegen jede Form der Diskriminierung. Rassismus, Sexismus, Homo- und Transfeindlichkeit und Ableismus haben hier keinen Platz.
Die Grenzen anderer sind zu respektieren Vorallem soll niemand dazu gedrängt werden Alkohol zu trinken.
Es gilt das Prinzip von Aktiv-Konsent, nur ja heißt ja!
Jeder hat unterschiedlich viel soziale Energie, achtet auf euch :).
Wir haben ein Awareness-Team. Ihr könnt jederzeit auf uns zukommen.
Auf jeder Veranstaltung ist mindestens eine Person des Teams anwesend. Uns erkennt ihr an unseren lila Westen.
Wir sind für euch da, falls ihr Diskriminierung oder Gewalt erfahren habt, aber auch wenn ihr euch einfach unwohl fühlt. Wir können euch helfen und euch einen Rückzugsort anbieten.

ANTI*-Treff

Selbst im binären System hat die Sichtbarkeit und Möglichkeit der Teilhabe von Frauen in der Physik und Mathematik noch einen weiten Weg vor sich und ist stark umkämpft.

Trans-, inter-, agender- und nicht binäre Menschen (TINA*-Personen) bleiben darüber hinaus weiterhin fast vollständig unsichtbar. Wenn ihr euch also nicht in der cisgeschlechtlichen binären Ordnung wiederfindet, sehen wir uns hoffentlich bald bei einem unserer Treffen. Denn ihr seid nicht allein und nur so kommen wir gegen Gefühle von Vereinzelung an.

Deswegen veranstalten wir als FSRe Mathematik und Physik ein Treffen für agender, nicht binäre, trans und intersex Personen (TINA* als Akronym) als Teil der ESE. Natürlich sind auch alle gemeint, die sich nicht mit diesen Labeln identifizieren können. Zusammen möchten wir uns kennenlernen bei Getränken, Essen und Snacks durch Spiel und entspannte Gespräche.

Unsere ESEn sollen für alle einen Raum bieten in dem sie sich wohl und willkommen fühlen.

Wir haben Euch lieb und freuen uns schon sehr Euch alle kennenzulernen!

Welcome week 2025

Hello first-semesters!

Welcome to the mathematics program! We are your student council (German: Fachschaftsrat or FSR for short) and we are students in many different mathematics semesters. We represent you students in various university committees and are a good contact point for questions and problems relating to your studies.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send us an email: kontakt@myfsr.de

By the way, we are also on social media, so follow, like, and share diligently! There is also a Chat-group for Mathematics Master students.

What is the ESE?

The „ESE“ is a welcome week full of events that are specifically designed for you to get to know your fellow students and the university.
The ESE takes place circa one week before the first lectures, so for this year from the 1st of October until the 12th of October.

This year we have some events specifically catered towards international master students, you will find everything in the list below!

Awareness during the ESE

The ESE should be a great week for all participants. To ensure this, we have an awareness concept and an awareness team.
At our ESE events, we value respectful and considerate interaction with one another.
We take a clear stand against all forms of discrimination. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism have no place here.
Everyone's boundaries must be respected. Above all, no one should be pressured to drink alcohol.
The principle of active consent applies: only yes means yes!
Everyone has different levels of social energy, so take care of yourselves :).
We have an awareness team. You can approach us at any time.
At least one person from the team is present at every event. You can recognize us by our purple vests.
We are here for you if you have experienced discrimination or violence, but also if you simply feel uncomfortable. We can help you and offer you a place of refuge.
